Features Morris Mini Cooper

1969 Morris Mini Cooper MKII Finished in tartan Red with Black Roof.

First registered in January 1969, complete with a heritage certificate confirming this Cooper was first registered in London and still retains it’s original registration number, also in the file is a DVLA print of the vehicle records stating a change of colour from the original snowberry white to tartan red and a replacement engine in 1996.

We have MOT certificates going back to 2006 quoting mileage of 22384 through to today’s mileage of 28000.

There is only a handful of repair invoices accompanying the vehicle, due to the very limited recent mileage (including we are told this Cooper took part in the 2017 Cooper club tour of France). We have just completed a thorough recommissioning and this Cooper now performs very well.

It is fitted with some nice period options including a webasto  sunroof, sun dim front windscreen alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, front bucket seats, a boot mounted reversing light(although not currently wired up) adhesive front number plate. It also benefits from having electronic ignition and a facet fuel pump, alternator and halogen head lights.

As previously mentioned this mini had a colour change from white to red back in 1996 .The paint has some defects particularly on the bonnet and offside front wing. The interior appears to be mainly original and in good condition. The car is full of character and great fun to drive. For any additional information and to arrange a viewing please contact us.
